The other side of the internet

I am constantly reminded that everything around me is technology. The internet, for example, is something very important and useful. Nowadays, I can’t live without it, because I need it in my place of work.
In the other day, internet went down. I was doing a project and I needed the internet to do it. That project was to be delivered in the next day and without internet I couldn’t finish it. So I had to go out and meet me with one friend of mine that gave me a book with all information I needed and some help too. The advantage of all of this was the fact that I met with my friend and got out of my office.
I give you one advice: The internet is a great invention but our life isn’t just that. Go out and have some fun instead of staying in front of your pc.

The importance of the Internet in people's lives

The world suffers constant transformations at all levels: technological, educational, social, economic and political. Each new generation, causes different ways of relating and living in society, which is altered and indeed this year, lives up a generation with access to vast information than past generations did not.
In fact, this generation has been marked by the revolution of a different means of communication which is capable to provide any information at any time, and allow treatment of certain issues: the internet. By the end of the century, perhaps the internet will be present in everyday’s life for all people, taking a place of leisure, commerce and services, education, research, communication, entertainment and, as I mentioned before, the information itself.
This new tool of communication exists to allow the interaction with other people from different cultures, enabling everybody to share opinions and suggestions by using the e-mail, forums and social networks.
Nowadays, you can communicate with people who are in another part of the planet through the use of Messenger, social networking, email, internet phone (like Skype). Thus, people can use these tools to disclose their business, advertisements and articles or other matters they consider relevant.
The Internet helps a lot to learn, allowing development of critical thinking of people. Discussion forums are a valuable resource where you can exchange views, ideas and experiences. Regarding social networks, they are providing friendships among people from different parts of the world, which can communicate, express and share their knowledge and ideas with other individuals. In addition, the e-mail has become one of the most important tools on the Internet, as allowed to provide learning resources, with speed in sending and receiving messages. Thus came largely replace traditional mail, which is a major breakthrough for the environment, as much paper is spared, and thus avoids the intensive deforestation.
In conclusion, the Internet enabled the exchange of different views and realities, and helped people to get answers to your everyday’s problems.

GLOBALIZATION

GLOBALIZATION

"It is the set of transformations in global economic and political order what has been happening for decades. The point of change is the integration of markets in a "global-village", operated by large international corporations. States gradually abandoning tariff barriers to protect their production from competition from foreign goods and open up to trade and international capital.
This process has been accompanied by an intense revolution in information technology - phones, computers and television. Information sources are also due to standardize worldwide and the growing popularity of pay-TV channels and of the Internet. This makes the consequences of globalization beyond the bounds of the economy and begin to cause a certain cultural homogeneity among countries. "

Health benefits of exercise

Regular exercises can help to protect us from many diseases, can improve our mood and help us to better manage stress.
Experts recommend that we do twenty or thirty minutes of aerobic activity, three or more times a week. However, if we are unable to do this level of activity, we can gain substantial health benefits by accumulating thirty minutes or more moderate-intensity physical activity a day, at least five times a week.
If we have been inactivity for a while, may we want to start with less strenuous activities as walking or swimming. Beginning at a slow pace will allow us to become physically fit without straining our body. Once we are in better shape we can gradually make strenuous activity.

Technological evolution

Technological evolution has become one of the biggest keys to the global communications, we can communicate all over the world. I have my godfather living in France and he doesn’t come to Portugal very often so we talk almost every week by the social network MSN, but his job moved away to other place and now he doesn’t have much time to spend on the internet so he writes me e-mails.
I use a lot of programs on the internet because I need to search music and music lyrics, to search music I use the www.youtube.com site and then I copy the URL to the program aTube Catcher to transform a video WMV to MP3 audio, then I need the music lyric, so I search at the site www.vagalume.com, usually I get what I need.
Once I bought a DVD player and it didn’t play all DVD’s that I put in it, so I went to the store and I asked them what was going on, they kept the DVD player and three months later I went to the store again, they didn’t call me to say if the DVD player was fixed already, I told them that I didn’t want that DVD player anymore and that I wanted to change to another one. They said yes, I changed it to a new one, until now it is working alright, I hope it doesn’t give me more problems.

The internet
Internet is regarded as perhaps the most important discovery. Serves primarily to share information, exchange and express ideas and opinions, to improve the culture and knowledge of human beings and communicate with the world.
The internet have access to information on any subject, which is very good, since that allows us to access a wide range of material witthout having to move in to find them. The extensive list of services currently found online, is growing increasingly.
Users can perform various types of banking transactions over the network as purchases, payments, banking, etc.
They can also communicate by email with family friends.
Most people I know and work with the internet, have generally positive experiences, but be careful since the World of internet we have all sorts of people since the decent ace least decent.
Curious and looking forward to this new world and the possibilities of relationship provided by him, are children and young people increasingly using the internet, so that parents should supervise as they may be subject to crime and exploitation.

REFLECTION ON THE CRISIS
At a time when there seems to be money for nothing, where thousands of people lose their jobs every day, with the governments to make cuts in all, the "world sport" is still paying billions to their teams and athletes.

It appears that the crisis is just for some?

Football clubs pay millions of euros on new signings, some are sold for millions and millions magnates. In Portugal, despite the crisis footballers are increasingly well paid, earning in one hour what I gain in years of work, right?

American sports and its alloys, along with the big clubs of European Football Cricket curiously appears in 12th place with the team of Indiana ... RC Bangalore India and Asia began to show signs of growth, so that the athlete Murbury highest paid of the NY Knicks appearing in 10th place was already playing for China this time ... money seems to have changed hands and Asians will begin to dominate the sports industry is only a matter of time.

INTERNET

Internet(www=World Wide Web) is an international computer network through whitch computer users all over the world can communicate and exchange information. To work or simply have fun internet is a fundamental tool. For the most part of the people is normal to havea professional and a personal e-mail. Nobody writes letters anymore, I guess - " send me by e-mail, I say everyday and probaly you too. Thanks to Internet we can see the news, watch videos, share photos, have a blog where we can write our thoughts or opinions ans even make friend! For exemple, MSN, HI5, Face-book, Twitter and You Tube are sites with millions of viewsper day. However, Internet creates dependents in those sites, in online games and used to diffuse violence and do crimes. Obviously children in the internet Internet without parents' supervision are dangerous.

BALANCED DIET por Sandra Santos TTO2/10

In a correct diet should take account of the calorific value and type of nutrients in each food. To avoid the necessity of consulting a table of food composition whenever you want to develop a complete and balanced meal, nutritionists have developed an approximate method of use very simple for individuals to determine what to eat, summarizing the call wheel food . This wheel shows the groups to which foods are classified according to their nutritional content.

The Commandments of Healthy Eating:

1 Drink lots of water (about 2 liters)

2 Never overfill the stomach, opting for small meals, several times a day

3 Eliminating sugar that is added to drinks and avoid the consumption of juices, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.

4 Halving the usual amounts of potatoes, rice, pasta and legumes.

5 Strengthening always the main meals with generous amounts of raw salad or cooked vegetables.

6 Save the bread and fruit to eat in between main meals.

7 Cooking simply, the base of boiled, stewed or grilled without fat.
8 Take a daily dairy products lean (milk / yogurt / cheese).
9 Prefer olive oil to any type of fat

Eat 10 times more fish than meat and reduce the usual amount of feed, and can replace them, 1-2 times per week for egg cooked without fat.

Risks of excessive salt intake:
Increased risk of certain cancers

Increased risk of onset of hypertension

Increased risk of cardiovascular disease

Burden of kidney function

Increased fluid retention by the body, which involves increased weight and contributes to the appearance of cellulite.

Network Equipment and Cultural Activities

NETWORK EQUIPMENT and CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Networks equipment and cultural activities are the best factor of consolidation and decentralization of cultural life and public awareness and training. The priority in the physical dimension, is the conclusion of the networks has already begun: The Public Reading Network, the Network of Theatres, the Network of Museums and the Network File.
However, we still lag behind in other key dimension of networks, such as articulation of equipment and services and its programs. The State can not and should replace the local authorities and other entities that own, the costs of maintaining and operating equipment. But should create programs to support qualification of their human resources and their schedules., The Government in this direction will create a program to support the dissemination of culture, whose main objective will be to stimulate roaming of shows and exhibitions, as well as the flow of information and technical support, in particular, the Network of Theatres.
Belonging to a network is not a mere formality. Should be dependent on careful and regular assessment of compliance with public service obligations, among which, without a doubt, the formation of publics. Therefore, all equipment of the Ministry of Culture and all equipment integrated into national networks should provide educational programs targeted at different audiences, whether for children, youth, adults and senior citizens. The Ministry will promote measures to facilitate access to different goods and cultural facilities, beginning with the organization of a cultural system of passes that allow admission, on favorable terms, the equipment often not free, including museums and monuments. Under the new technologies and information and communication will be established an electronic portal for culture itself, that stimulates the development of networking activities and cultural facilities. So we will strengthen our investment in on-line content including the National Library, museums and monuments, and will create a specific program to support the dissemination of our literary heritage and artistic environments and digital media, contributing to the enlargement of production and public accessibility to cultural content, including the development of structures in the arts documentary.
Encourage the involvement of more people in different areas and dimensions of cultural practice involves the use of different policy instruments. The main thing is, no doubt, promote the links between reproductive areas of education, higher education, science, innovation and culture, particularly through the coordination of education and culture, through the generalization of arts education in all education primary and secondary schools and encouraging cooperation between schools and cultural institutions and agents. Among other instruments, to mention a stimulus to volunteering for cultural activities, which represent a way to involve the whole community in the protection and enjoyment of your most valuable assets.

Pope in Portugal...total exploration...

Nowadays, the religion goes unpunished...it takes advantage of the faith of people and there is a growing exploration...the enclosure of Fatima is transformed into the biggest business of Portugal, instead of being merely a place of faith and beliefs, as well it should be. For example, we buy candles to light them as symbol of our faith, the promises we make, if we have more than two candles (for person), telling us to send them to put inside the PIRA, which is a large container to burn, so not to waste time and dispatching the greatest number of people who can, so that more and more to come...and they profit, profit. They think only in business, disrespecting the religious act of faith of people, not giving the opportunity to light a candle with dignity.
The Pope's coming to Portugal, became a symbol of total ostentation, rather than excel one and only by faith. In a country going through a critical phase in financial terms, millions were invested on chairs, altars, posters, souvenirs (including that they charged the people, not even the offering),among many others.
Regrettable!

Doping no desporto

Private security Guards

Private security guards have become increasingly important in our society, and the security industry is one of the fastest growing in the country. Security guards protect their employer's investment, enforce rules and laws on the property, deter criminal activity or other problems, and many times they are the First Responders in emergency situations.

There are three things to consider when hiring security guards:
1) what needs to be protected:
2) what level of protection is desired:
3) who is going to do the protecting.

1) The first step is to determine what needs to be protected and what the guard's responsibilities will include. Security guards can be posted at stationary locations to control entrances and check people entering and leaving the property, control crowds, give directions, accept packages, and discourage misbehavior. Guards also patrol and inspect property to protect against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal activity.

2) Security guards can be armed or unarmed, in uniform or plain clothes, posted on the property or thousands of miles away viewing video cameras that are part of an interactive system. What is the level of security needed and what is the budget required to achieve that level?

3) When it comes to hiring security guards, it doesn't matter whether the guards are employed by an agency or hired directly by the end user; interviewing is essential in order to find the right person for the position. The advantage of using a security guard service

Do the contents found on the Internet are reliable
When we think we have a health problem, as has happened at all, what we do?

We ran a computer with internet connection and do a search, giving it access to much information, often wrong, even before we resort to a doctor.

In search of search engine, more common, appearing 50 000 items related to the symptoms that we "run" in "Google." We read one another, and another .... we become increasingly concerned, always the worst.

After ... comes to consultation with the doctor, and we very frightened, some medical tests later ... and this is one small problem, but not as serious as they said on the Internet ...

Nowadays, it is impossible to imagine the world without the Internet. His advent and popularization, allowed a quick and easy access to the information in all parts of the planet.
Although not yet a reality for many access to the Internet grows every day.

Today, in large network, can be found the most diverse information of the most distinguished subjects, including doctors. But with as much content available, the question is: how to know what can you and that should not be used and if used correctly.

With the volume of data contained on the Internet, it is important to know where to find the correct information about this request. There is the comparison of information.

The use of Internet facilities, but also brought false anxieties and concerns.
